The instal-lation will process the region\u2019s organic waste to generate high-grade biomethane, compost, and liquid fertilizer.<\/em><br \/>\nOn the same day as launching the project to build a Kompogas\u00ae plant in J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping on 1 March, Swiss-based Kanadevia Inova has now notched up another success in Sweden: after around 18 months of construction and commissioning, the Kompogas\u00ae installation in H\u00f6gbytorp, around 40 kilometers north-west of Stockholm, has now been successfully handed over to the client, E.ON Biofor Sverige AB. \u201cI am glad to operate a plant that\u2019s built and runs so well,\u201d said M. Lindblad, Plant Manager at E.ON, at the handover. The biogas plant at H\u00f6gbytorp was Kanadevia Inova\u2019s first Kompogas\u00ae project in Scandinavia.<br \/>\nNow the installation\u2019s three steel digesters will treat around 83,000 metric tons of kitchen and organic waste every year, as well as organic material from agriculture, to produce 6.8 million Nm3 of biomethane annually \u2013 substituting around 7 million liters of fossil fuels.
